Trekking Segara Anak Rinjani 3 days package requires good level of fitness and ability to walk long distance. Person with mountain sickness or height phobia, Decompression, hepatitis are not allowed to join this tour. We can customize any date based on request with minimum 2 persons in each group. Trekking Segara Anak Rinjani details itinerary:

 Day 1: Hotel – RTC Senaru – Crater Rim Senaru – Overnight
Pick up early at your hotel at 05.00 AM, transfer to Rinjani Trek Centre (RTC) in Senaru (601m), meet your describes the route details, local cultural traditions, rubbish management and safety procedures.
The first hours of the trek climb steeply through thick tropical forest rich in flora, bird life and variety of butterflies. Rest stops are taken along the way, and at pos 2 Montong Satas shelter ( 1,500m ).
The night’s camp is made either in the forest at pos 3 Mondokon Lolak (2,000m) after about five hours climb from senaru, or continue the ascent for another couple of hours through grassy meadows Plawangan 1 Senaru crater rim at 2,641m, views across the lake Segara Anak (2,00m) to the summit of Mt. Rinjani. Within the crater, Mt. Baru ( 2,351m) is an active, last erupting dramatically in 1994. On a clear evening the Gili Isles, Bali and Mt. Agung can be seen to the west.


Day 2 : Crater Rim Senaru – Segara Anak Lake – Overnight
After breakfast, down to the lake Segara Anak (2,000 m) within the Rinjani crater. The trek route in this point is steep and rocky. Your guide and porters will assist and give you extra attention. Mt. Baru (2,351m) is an island in the lake and an active volcano, last erupting dramatically in 1994. Going down the ridge passing numerous Edelweiss plants Bunga Abadi to the crater rim camp for a well-deserved lunch. It takes two to three hours down the steep trail to the crater lake and day 2’s camp. The rest of the day is spent relaxing, swimming in the lake and exploring the caves and pilgrimage hot springs, believed to have healing powers.


Day 3: Segara Anak Lake – Crater Rim Senaru – Senaru village – Hotel


After breakfast, descend down the long trail to Senaru village (601 m), through thick tropical forests rich in flora, bird life and a variety of butterflies. You might see orchid and, if lucky, the rare black ebony leaf monkey, known locally as lutung. Rest stop are taken along the way, with village stories and local legends related by your guide. Features include the Batu Penyesalan stone and banyan tree bunut ngengkang that looks like someone standing with their legs apart. After seven hours walk from the rim, (or five hours from Pos 3 Mondokon Lolak), the trek ends at Rinjani Trek Center at the road head in Senaru, where the car is waiting to transfer you to the hotel at Senggig
